I had the pleasure of working with Pierre recently for approx 6 months. I was suffering from back pain that prevented me from walking or standing for more than 20 minutes, that had been diagnosed as wear and tear of the facet joints of the spine. I responded to one of his marketing campaigns as the content seemed to make a lot of sense to me.

During this time, I found Pierre to be very professional. I was impressed by the thorough initial assessments that he undertook looking at the body as a whole, also taking the time to understand my overall lifestyle and habits. This approach gave me some interesting insights that I was able to learn from straight away.

Pierre is extremely knowledgeable and is able to explain concepts in a simple and relatable manner. He is a supportive coach, and shows genuine interest and care, always patiently walking me through each exercise, detailing its purpose and how it contributes to my overall recovery.

Throughout our sessions, his approach was always practical and flexible, but also realistic. Each week re-assessing symptoms and progress and quick to trouble shoot and consider alternatives where necessary. With his guidance and support I am now walking and standing without pain! We have also addressed some other issues along the way and importantly, he has given me the right tools, knowledge and understanding for the longer term. I now have an invaluable tool kit of exercises and resources that I can tap into myself!

Pierre's expertise and personalised approach is very different. I definitely recommend working with Pierre; if you commit, he will coach you to get the results you want and you will learn a lot along the way!

I'm a very active person and go to the gym several times a week, and kickboxing training twice a week. I began experiencing sciatica-like symptoms with an onset that was very benign and progressed over the course of 2 months into very severe pain in my left hamstring and glutes that would get painful to the point of affecting my ability to work out and even stopped me walking more than 5 minutes at a stretch. I went for deep tissue massages, chiropractors etc for 10 weeks to no avail, at which point I started researching someone who would spend a decent amount of time with me to do a proper assessment and help me understand the root causes for the symptoms I was experiencing and help me chart a course back to my old state of vitality.

Through his assessment process we were able to identify the driving causes behind my symptoms and through personalised corrective mobilisations, stretches, and exercises start addressing them. Furthermore, I learnt how certain groups of core muscles work as a unit to facilitate balanced movement and stability. Over the 3 months of a combination of various targeted stretching and strengthening exercises, my symptoms improved considerably, and the postural imbalances identified during the initial assessment had through re-assessment objectively improved too. I've been able to return to the gym, the martial arts club, even doing the odd 10K run causes no symptoms. I've always had issues with my lower back too, but this has also begun to feel much more stable and stronger.

I’d recommend Pierre to anyone who values physical strength and vitality and is open to learning new ideas on how to be stronger in a more holistic and functional way. Pierre spends time to understand the root causes of symptoms and explains his rationale for the exercise program he's suggesting. If you're motivated and implement his ideas with an open mind, I have no doubt the benefits will come, as they did with me.

"I initially went to see Pierre as I was concerned about neck and back pain, a knee problem, a foot injury and a general feeling of fatigue and brain fog. I felt like I was no longer in control or understood my body or why it was letting me down and why I was suffering from a myriad of ailments.

I was introduced to Pierre by an osteopath who I went to see about back pain I was suffering from after long bike rides. She had identified that I had some imbalances in my posture - for example: one hip higher than the other - and she thought that Pierre's might be able to help me. At my first consultation with Pierre he delved into other issues I was troubled with... this was quite a long list! I had a sore wrist from a fall two years ago that was still weak and painful when gardening or playing the piano, I  regularly experienced neck pain from reading and using my smartphone, and sometimes I experienced pain in the arch of my foot when walking longer distances.

What I liked about Pierre is that he approached all of these issues holistically. He undertook a thorough assessment of my posture, movement and musculoskeletal tension and strength. He was then able to identify some significant imbalances in my system that had probably developed over years of misuse (ie. sedentary lifestyle, limited exercise and poor posture). 

Across the first three months we worked on addressing the basics and after about 6-8 weeks (of following his exercise programme 2-3 times a week) I noticed very significant improvements - I was able to do gardening or go on bike rides without back pain, the pain in my neck has gone, and I have even started to be able to play the piano again without wrist pain. I am so impressed with the results I am planning to continue the programme for longer.

I would recommend Pierre to anyone with chronic musculoskeletal issues that don't seem to go away or always hover in the background ready to come back. I wasn't aware how connected all these issues were and I am very happy to feel like I am on the mend and getting stronger for the first time in years.

I suffered with problems with my back for several years now and what made it worse was having 2 road traffic accidents back in 2019 within one week, which both involved cars hitting me in the rear and me sustaining whiplash injuries to my neck. I was experiencing a lot of chronic pain in my neck especially when turning it, which was impacting my work and day to day life. Through Pierre’s program we were able to get it pain free and with full range of motion very quickly.

Before I met Pierre, I was pushing hard at the gym while constantly experiencing pain and discomfort during and after such training. Every time I progressed with weights, pain would stop me from the next scheduled session, skipping the gym for 10 days only to start at the very beginning again. I was demotivated and sad. What the point of training when it brings me pain and no progress?

Looking back, it was Pierre’s interest in my goal in life, what I like to do and what makes me happy, that made me stick do his program. Every time Pierre would make a suggestion, he would explain how it is going to help me live my dream. Pierre wrote me a corrective program to improve my posture. He did lots of assessments and measurements and explained to me the areas I need to work on to see a real improvement. 

He showed me excellent corrective mobilisations, stretches, and corrective exercises that don’t take too long yet are very effective. My back is stronger, I’m strengthening my core, and feel like it’s making a real difference. 

I must say I am extremely impressed not only by his understanding of anatomy and physiology but the way he can apply his knowledge by determining which exercises are appropriate.
